Join the Hulagway sa Kadayawan 2015 Photo Contest
Great news to all photographers and for those who loves street photography! This is your ultimate chance to showcase your skills in taking the best and most captivating photos of the 30th Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival through the Hulagway sa Kadayawan 2015 Photo Contest. This amazing competition is brought to us by the City Government of Davao and among the highlight events for the 30th Kadayawan Festival.
This competition is open to any interested photographer (professional and hobbyist) and the photos taken must depict the beauty and grandeur of Kadayawan Festival; be it an event, a place, performers, or colorful inanimate objects seen during or associated with the 30th Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival. All photo entries should have been taken from August 15-23, 2015 in Davao City (during any of the official events of the festival) and will be judged based on these criteria: Composition - 30%, Relevance to the Theme - 30%, Creativity - 20% and Originality - 20%. Submission of entries are accepted on or before 5:00 pm of August 26, 2015.
Winning entries will receive the following prizes:
1st Prize – P15,000
2nd Prize – P10,000
3rd Prize – P5,000
17 Runners-up – P1,500 each
Mayor’s Choice Award - P3,000 (only the 20 final entries will be presented to the City Mayor)
