It's the month of August once again, which means that it is time of the country's King of Festivals, which is the Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival. This year is the 32nd year of celebration of life, a thanksgiving for the gifts of nature, the wealth of culture, the bounties of harvest and serenity of living. The week-long Kadayawan Festival started last August 12, 2017 with the Dragon Boat Race at Sta. Ana Wharf, but the formal opening was held August 14, 2017 at Ramon Magsaysay Park.
