2022 Kadayawan Festival Update: Face-to-Face Kadayawan Eyed by Davao City Tourism Office

Did you missed the Kadayawan Festival at its flesh? Well we've got some great news as the 2022 Kadayawan celebration will most-likely back to its original face-to-face form. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the past 2 editions (2020 and 2021) of the King of Festivals were conducted virtually. 2022 Kadayawan Festival will be held from August 15 to 21 2022.

According to Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) OIC Generose Tecson "We'll still meet with the Kadayawan Execom for approval (of the face to face celebration)".

Acting Mayor Sebastian Z. Duterte has signed Executive Order (EO) No. 21, Series of 2022, on June 8, 2022, creating the executive committee and sub-committees for the 2022 Kadayawan sa Davao Festival.

More details to follow once Kadayawan Execom approves the face-to-face celebration and release the list of events for the 2022 Kadayawan celebration.
