The activities for the 79th Araw ng Dabaw had already started. Yesterday, March 13, 2016 the Davao Unplugged event was held at San Pedro Street, Davao City. Davao Unplugged is a local acoustic band competition for all bands in Davao Region. This was the perfect time for local bands not only from Davao City, but for the entire Davao Region to showcase their amazing talents in singing and playing instruments. I don't exactly know the competition's mechanics, but I'm certain that there was no age limit required as there were elementary, college and adults (band members) who participated.
As of this writing, the winners of the Davao Unplugged was not yet announced, but I'll update this post once the winning bands are already announced, so stay tuned. Meanwhile, here are some of the pictures taken during the event from
